A BIG thank you to the Families and Children who participated in VBS 2025 and to the volunteers who “poured their hearts” into making this year such a Spirit-filled time. 27 students and 22 volunteers made it possible for children to “cycle” through water-themed Bible, Active & Craft activities. All learned ways in which God loves God’s good creation by watching over it all and how Jesus is the Living Water.

#KidsConnect is the 2026 Vacation Bible School where children use their brain power as they connect with Jesus, family, and friends of all ages! As children learn and create together, they will find a place of belonging, relate to trusted adults, make new friends, and follow Jesus’ example of making room for all and loving one another. Each day includes worship and drama, Bible study, art and science explorations, brain-building challenges, and active games. Daily take-home activities encourage families to grow faith and build community with people of all ages. Let’s build a better world filled with the love and peace of God!

VBs — a community Ministry
Each summer, MMC co-hosts Vacation Bible School (VBS) with Roanoke Mennonite Church. At VBS, children learn about Jesus through fun activities, music and singing, drama, Bible story time, Bible memory, crafts, games, and snacks. Bible stories come to life and lead children deeply into Scripture focused on God’s care and compassion for everyone around the world.
Children ages 4 through grade 5 are welcome to this time of worship, learning, friends, and fun!
